Delanee Olivarri had a birthday party in Southridge Friday night. Hope you got lots of cool presents Delanee, happy birthday!

Saturday night residents of Southridge gathered at Club Carpenter for some grub. The ribs were out of this world, I think we need to make those more often. As you can see they were finger licken good! Ms. Sisk dropped by to hand out some presents she thought we might be in need of for the night.

The girls then begin to sample mini mixed drinks that we might be able to serve at future gatherings. We definitely don’t want to give our guest yucky alcohol, so everything must be put through vigorous test to ensure the highest of standards. We take great pride in our hosting abilities even if it means sampling a great number of beverages.

The guys then began discussing energy savings techniques to benefit Southridge. They came up with a great energy saving idea by combining a regular heat source along with cooking out. By using a propane heater with a diffuser on top, the girls were kept happy from the warmth and the guys got some great meat. The only rule was if something fell off the diffuser onto the carpet in the garage, DON’T EAT IT!!!! Jeff had a hard time remembering this rule and was reminded several times. Kudos to the guys and gals who take their responsibilities so seriously and work tirelessly to maintain an efficient and hospitable neighborhood.

The “Bandit Gang” was also spotted in Southridge on Saturday evening and were caught on a surveillance camera mounted in a classified location. The images show the gang viciously attacking Tony’s Tahoe. Once a group of neighborhood watch citizens had been rounded up, they inspected the crime scene. A device had been put on the back of the SUV in order to hinder the driver’s ability. When the brakes were depressed or the turn signal used, the horn would honk. The gang then hurled an old ugly ceiling fan into a tree in front of Teresa’s house and sped away in their black Trans Am. As usual we’ll ask if anyone has any information, please report it. This time it was pretty funny though!

Hope everyone has a fabulous week. Remember that the deadline to be a sponsor for the Crawfish Boil is May 1st. If you want to be a sponsor, please make sure we have your contribution before the deadline so we can include you in our shirt count. Can’t wait to see everyone there, the countdown has begun!

Saturday night was a blast. Cooking on the Southridge WOK was an experience. Don't think we can do the ribs on there, but we can give it a shot.

We really have to watch the "other" neighbors that have trash in their yards. Probaly some teacher lady.
