Happy Daddy’s Day

This week I’m dedicating the blog to all the wonderful fathers around us. We have some truly amazing men who are great daddies and great friends. What would this world be like without these guys who inspire their children to become tremendous human beings? I hope everyone makes a toast to these great guys to let them know how important they are to us. Way to go guys!!! We love you.

I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to post a funny or endearing story about their father or their baby daddy this week. I’ll start us off with a little story about Jeff and Jessica.

Jeff and Jessica have been two peas in a pod since day one. Sometimes I feel like it’s two against one over here, me being the one. Of course if you add in all our animals, it’s more like five to three. They still win, but Jasper, Grey Kitty, and I are much more popular, so we deal with it. Anyway, I don’t know if anyone knows exactly how alike they are. Jeff and Jessica watch wrestling together, enjoy “Ghost Hunters” on the Sci-Fi channel, run around screaming and tickling each other constantly. Sometimes I think that they are doing it just to get on my nerves. One day we had gone to Sonic and Jessica got her usual, Mozzarella Sticks. Half way through eating she pushed them away and said, “I can’t eat these, there’s too much cheese in them.” Jeff looked at her with this crazy grin and told her Mozzarella was cheese. She argued back with him for a couple of minutes then finally turned to me for help, “Mom, tell him these are Mozzarella sticks and not cheese sticks.” I told her they were both right, but yes Mozzarella was cheese, while Jeff laughed the whole time. Till this day every time we drive by Sonic or see cheese sticks on a menu, Jeff teases her and we all get a laugh out of it. She even encourages me to tell people the story of the Mozzarella Sticks cause she thinks it’s so funny. Cheese Sticks anyone???
