This weekend Southridge was a buzz with excitement waiting for Keith, Amy, Lee, Sherry, Terri’s cousin, and our dear Budman Steve to visit on Saturday. Unfortunately Keith & Amy ended up not being able to make it to J town this weekend, but we bravely carried on without them. Although it was terribly difficult to drink and smoke through the dreadful pain of their absence. I was so looking forward to getting some “non-gay” photos of Keith.
When I arrived at Club Carpenter Saturday, the party had been in full swing for hours. The pool was a hot spot for activity throughout the day, but anytime food is available the pool empties pretty quickly. We a hungry bunch! The brisket was fabulous and all the fixings to go with it were really tasty. Here’s a picture of Teresa’s plate, doesn’t it make you hungry??? Very appetizing!!

It didn’t take long for the pole to attract some dancers, with one surprising participant. Can you believe that ho? Grey Kitty must be taking dancing lessons, because he dropped it like it’s hot. Who would have thought? Of course Jeff can’t seem to go to Tim & Terri’s house without doing some showing off with the pole. I’ve woke up a couple of times in the middle of the night and him not been in bed next to me. Starting to wonder if he’s sneaking down there to try to perfect his technique.
We ended the night with just a few of us heading to the Oasis. Sometimes I think we go there just cause we like walking through the door and everyone going, “Southridge In The House” in a deep monotone voice. I had a great time this weekend (even though my head is killing me) and I’m so happy we got to see some friends that we don’t get to see very often. By the way Teresa, don’t feel insecure about your eight toes, nobody is perfect. Atleast you don’t have the gargantuan big toe like mine.

I have to say that this was one of the best Southridge BBQs EVER! I walked away unscathed with only a few residual black marks from those damn jumping Jeep tires! Whether I’m the 3rd, 5th, 7th… wheel, the Southridge crew always makes me feel at home. A big thanks to Tim for my BudLime beer run and my uneaten chicken dinner (which made an awesome breakfast btw;-) And to the always responsible Terri for my most delicious Pico run! Love u guys!
PS… Although Tim and Terri have always been more than accommodating, and there lovely abode looks large enough to house the entire Southridge community… Anthony and I noticed that we weren’t included in the new Southridge floor plans. So… we are staking claim to the green house! BooYa! Whoever thought they were going to grow “produce” is going 2 have 2 go through me ;-)
Son of a .....!!!! That is messed up. See the respect I get from my loving wife. I love her though & paybacks are hell. Had a great time at the "Hotter Than Hell Fest". The pool was relaxing, the food was great & even saw some rain. Thanks for the gifts Steve!
It WAS a great weekend! Even the rain didn't spoil the fun. Hope to do it again soon with even more Southridgians here. And yes, Martha knows she spelled "there" instead of "their" in her comment...but once you post it, you can't change it! That's master's money well spent, huh? I know, she says "it was late!"
Sorry we missed the action this weekend! Glad to see some people have switched to Bud! Grey kitty has some good moves on the pole, but what in the world is Juan doing?? He needs to learn a little from Grey kitty, Or was it just the SHAVED BOYS?????
