Halloween Is Coming Soon

This week we headed to Natalia for Friday night’s football game and found some of the worst officials ever to walk onto a football field. This is not an exaggeration. I don’t know too much about football (odd since I’m at all of them) but I could have made a better referee than these guys. Do you remember the theme to The Benny Hill Show? Well every time these Umpalumpas tried to run across the field to make a call, I heard that tune in my head. There were a few times that one of them would throw a flag then after a meeting with the other Umpas decide he didn’t mean to do that. This went on for what felt like forever, but the Indians finally came out on top with a score of 30 to 22.

Now normally we are in no big hurry to get home from football games, but this was one specially Friday. Pleasanton was having their homecoming and the class of 1988 was having a party at the Oasis. Since so many of the Society’s board members went to school in Pleasanton, this was an important event for us. Not every day you get to make fun of people who suck more than you. (Just kidding)

Jeff & I finally met up with Tim, Terri, and Janie around 10:45. We got to see a lot of faces that we hadn’t seen in a very long time and it was great catching up with everyone. We didn’t get to stay long though since the O closes at midnight and we were running late from the game so we had Randy and Shelly follow us back over to Southridge. Once we got back to the hood things started rolling as usual. Janie was really in a sweet and loving mood on Friday as you can tell by the pictures. Awwww, ain’t that cute? We had a really great time till about 5 AM, and then hibernated for 24 hours. Well some of us did anyway. One of us went to bed without telling anyone else, and then when they had someone else check on them, that person curled up in bed and went to sleep too. I won’t name names, but I will say……WUSSIES!!!!

I unfortunately didn’t call my brother Brandon and wish him happy birthday on Saturday. Yes I know I’m a shitty sister. Happy birthday Brandon, I love you very much and hope you had a great weekend.
