Friday was Jeffrey’s birthday and we had hoped to find tickets to go to the $100 dance on Saturday, but our hopes were pretty well gone by game time. This week the Indians played George West, who is undefeated this season. Well they are still undefeated. We left Jourdanton’s football stadium around 10 PM and headed home. When we rounded the corner I heard Jeff say “Holy Shit.” That’s about the time I noticed the toilet paper hanging from the front tree and police tape tied to Jeff’s truck and everywhere else. Well that was just the beginning. Jeff hit the garage door to put my car in the garage and we noticed a bunch of little faces staring back at us. As the garage door slowly opened, it revealed a bunch of break and enterers. Tim and Terri had Shelbie crawl under the garage which we generally leave cracked open for Jeff’s kitty. So Shelbie crawled under the door and pushed the button which allowed the rest of the vandals to infiltrate Jeff’s man shack. After realizing that yes, we had a bunch of funny people hanging out in our garage, my eyes shot to the recliner that had mysteriously appeared. They actually carried Terri’s recliner to our house. She really enjoys her comfort. It was a nice surprise for Jeff who was a little depressed that we weren’t going to be able to go to the dance Saturday. So the gang took him to the Oasis so he could sing his favorite song. Thanks for being so sweet guys!!

On Saturday Jeff, Jessica, and I headed for San Antonio and ended up downtown. Our first stop was The Mirror Maze. It’s $10 a person and took us like 10 minutes to figure out from start to finish and back again. Don’t really recommend this downtown attraction. Next we went to Ripley’s Haunted Experience down the street. Not too much scares me, but apparently a wooden plank (that I know I can’t really fall off of) freezes me in my tracks. Even though I had felt both sides of the plank to make sure there was actually ground there, I couldn’t force myself across. I lost the group we were in and had to yell for Jeff to come back and get me. Oh shut up! Until you try it, you can’t laugh at me losers! We also went on the 3D Adventure Ride (sucks) and went through the Guinness Book of World Records exhibit. The records exhibit was pretty cool and took us like an hour and a half to walk through. If you go make sure you look for the world’s most embarrassing moment. If you can’t find it, ask a guide, you won’t be sorry. We also went to dinner at Pappadoux so we could stuff our faces before heading back to J town. This time there were no “visitors” in the garage. Tim, Terri, Teresa, and Gary had gone to the dance, James & Kelly are out of town, Juan and Sonya came over along with Gilbert & Janie to watch the new “Indiana Jones” movie. Juan and Sonya had to leave early because Dom had a game Sunday morning and the O’s had to go cause poor Delanee is allergic to cats. So Jeff and I were all alone until Terri texted me wanting us to meet at the O. Thirty minutes later we met with Mr & Mrs C, Teresa, and Gary.

Yes... fun weekend! A couple of comments though, girls: please don't make me take 3 drunk guys to the O again by myself...and Shannon: picture taking is YOUR job again next week!
