This was a great week to be a Southridgian! On Wednesday we celebrated Kelly and Shelbie's birthdays with pizza, cake, and lots of cool gifts. As you can tell in the photos the gift selection was quite different between the two. Happy birthday girls, I hope you had a great time. Well, we know and Chili's knows that Kelly did. Kelly's real present was home by Thursday. James finally found his way home to Southridge and we are trying desperately to take away the Arkansas accent. He said he was really happy to be around women with all their teeth again. Soooooo politically correct! Way to go James, already embarrassing Kelly and you've only been home a few days.
As the girls were planning our trip to the "library" for Saturday night, the guys (Jeff, Tim, Gary, and Clint) were planning their last trip to see the Cowboys play at Texas Stadium. Jeff has been very emotional about this and I don't know if it is more about the new stadium or the fact that he was going to get to share one motel room with two beds between four guys. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
We all planned to be good girls and boys on Friday night so the guys could get a good start on Saturday and the girls would be in good shape to go to the "library." Well Kelly screwed that up for us. :) Kelly was celebrating her birthday the proper way a woman should, all freakin week long! Kel Bel showed up at Mr. & Mrs. C's house around ten and we all headed to the Oasis. Did I mention she had already been to a couple of bars by the time she met up with us? Nothing like getting a head start! Let me tell you, Kelly really knows how to ring in her birthday. Bartenders all over the world look forward to serving this fine looking lady! Anyway, Kelly and her twin Jeff had a great time at The O, but damn if they remember any of it. That's okay, that's what friends are for! So can someone please be a good friend and let me know what the hell happened to all of us good boys and girls? All I know from the pictures is that Jeff really likes riding a pool stick, Teresa has chalk on her ass, I look like one of those happy people in the stupid Mentos commercials, and for some reason it looks like Kelly was flicking boogers on Jeff.

Saturday the guys left for Dallas around noon and around the same time the other manly men in our neighborhood (James and Juan) took the kids roller skating. I can just see them in their cute little pink roller skates with little fuzzy balls on the back, rolling around the rink and performing "stunts" together. Awwwwwww, so sweet.
Later that evening, James and Kelly had fajitas down on the south side of Southridge and invited the remaining board members over. Everything was really great, but I so badly need the recipe to Sonya's rice and Kelly's artichoke dip. Yummy! I didn't last too long Saturday, only till about 8:30. No "library." Before I left though, I forgot one small detail. I had placed Teresa's new phone on the Spanish setting, then forgot about it and went home. Well apparently the Bandit found out about Teresa's difficultly getting her phone off of Se Habla Espanol, because I had toilet paper in my pitiful little tree and chalk writing about someone's dust pan all over the drive way and porch. Ha ha, it was worth it!

Jeff called after the game on Sunday very happy with a Cowboy's win. I think he was a little sad thinking about it being the last time he would ever sit in those seats for a Cowboy's game or maybe he was just sad thinking about having to check out of the hotel in the morning. Who knows? It could have been he was just depressed that Tim spilled his nuts.Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving dinner with lots of turkey and dressing. I'm very thankful for my wonderful family, fabulous friends, my sweetie pie pets, and all my blessings. I'm also thankful that four years can go by very quickly.
