As you can see Lee and Sherry were down a couple of weeks ago and I hope the pictures bring back some of their memory. We always love seeing Lee and Sherry, but they were in rare form for this visit. They were undeniably in the mood to spread the love during this festive season. As you can see everyone received a touch of love they had to share throughout the night, but somehow I think Juan may have gotten the most love. I think once you’ve felt the love, you feel a need to pass it on. It affected all of us that night and we just couldn’t contain ourselves.
This weekend not much was going on Friday with Terri being sick (I swear Vick’s on your feet works), Kelly’s company Christmas party, and me just being lazy & tired. Saturday Jeff, Jessica, and I went to San Antonio to finish up our Christmas shopping. I love the fact that I finished my entire list without ever entering a mall. I hate shopping for those of you who don’t know, I’d rather be fishing! On the way home we picked up two movies, Tropic Thunder and Step Brothers. More on these fine pieces later. Tim and Terri had an Atascosa County version of a pub crawl going on that night so we set up in our garage. While Tim & Terri went to party after party, we watched Tropic Thunder with Teresa, Gary, Kelly, and James.
Tropic Thunder, what to say……..DO NOT BUY THIS MOVIE!!!! I can watch all these spoofs that Hollywood has been putting out over the past few years; I even enjoyed Harold and Kumar’s Escape. I’ve seen all the “Not Another Teen Movie” type films and I’ve even laughed a couple of times. I did not laugh this time. The only parts that even attempted to put a smile on my face were the scenes between Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey and that was due partly cause McConaughey is just so dammed hot! I can’t tell you what a waste of time this movie is.
Tim and Terri showed up around 10 Pm so we headed up to The Oasis. Scott and Sherry were there having a going away celebration of sorts. They are moving on the 23rd and this was their last free weekend. So they did what anyone would do, they spent time at the O. Good luck to them and hope they don’t become strangers!
On Sunday Jeff and I watched "Step Brothers." Now although this film was better than "Tropic Thunder" it is still in the DO NOT BUY THIS MOVIE catagory. At least with this one I chuckled a couple of times, even though as I write this I can't remember exactly why.
Now that everyone is up to speed on the past couple of weeks, let’s take a look down the road a bit. I know how busy the holidays can be for everyone so make sure you plan a little “me” time and go to the Oasis New Year’s Eve. Harvey is going to whip out some karaoke, not to mention snacks and great friends. I think we should all go in matching shirts so we don’t get separated in the crowd. Wouldn’t that be cute? Anyway, I hope to see you all there, especially if you have never seen Jeff sing “I’m Too Sexy.” I promise you will not be let down!!
Also Chalk Bluff planning time is upon us. Terri says it’s always best to call the first week in January to get reservations, so we need to plan a date soon. We had such a great time this year and can’t wait for Chalk Bluff 2009.

Great Blog! Don't know about the Juan & Lee thing, but hey if you like those things. Can't wait until Chalk Bluff just don't schedule this trip during the time we go on our cruise. Let's also hope they went to a better prision acution of the course of a year and have better beds.

So NOWWWW you make the frog picture bigger... perhaps I could have guessed correctly before if I could have only seen the hint of the fine mural painting from the smaller picture. Everyone knows that that fine piece of work can only be found in the O bathroom.

All I can say Terri is I think that was what Tim was doing with that damn Wii controller at that time, Since you covered up the number it was at 50 if I remember.
