Friday Karaoke A Success

Well if you weren’t able to join us for the all new Friday Night Karaoke at the Oasis then you missed a great time. It was standing room only at the O and as usual we were running a bit late. It didn’t take long though for sweet Miss Betty to allow us to bring in a table from the back to set up shop for the night. As usual we turned in our songs and waited to be called to the microphone, and waited, and waited, and waited. Just kidding Harvey, we had a great time! :)
It feels like years since my buddy James was able to lend his great vocal talents at the Oasis. It’s so great when he’s in town, we really miss ya James! We also had a few others who hadn’t been there in quite awhile, which made things pretty interesting. Instead of singing with a duo or trio, we had something that you could only call an assembly. Oh and can someone please tell me how we ended up with so many pictures of yours truly this time. I like being behind the camera people, not the behind on camera. I know, I'm so funny!
It was a lot of fun and I hope to see you all there again this Friday. Once again though, Cam has a game Friday night so we won’t see Tim & Terri till later in the evening. We'll save you two a seat and take your "provisions" up with us if you want. Everyone else is more than welcome to come here for pre-karaoke cocktails though. I know it’s not the same as Tim & Terri’s very popular and comfy pad, but who can compete with that? If you have any suggestion on how to improve our facilites just call 1-800-EAT-****. Lol.

After many successful versions of songs from the Southridge play book, we headed back to the hood for the after party. And blah blah blah blah blah, Kelly & James went to Sandfest, blah blah blah, Saturday was no fun. :(
Sunday Southridge threw together a great dinner and we got to see someone we hadn’t seen in ages, Martha. Great to see you Martha and yes your dog is very sweet, just very big. It was a great day with the kids flipping around on the trampoline, soaking in the hot tub, games, and great friends. I really love the laid back days like this in Southridge. It just makes you feel good to look around and see such great friends, great kids, and all the laughs. I love you guys!!
By the way, Kelly your grounded!

Don’t forget that the 5th Annual Southridge Crawfish Boil is May 16th. If you’re planning on being a sponsor, please let us know as soon as possible. The countdown has begun and we need an accurate count of sponsors so we can purchase everything. Remember that if we have any money left over every penny goes to a local child in need. If you have already signed up to be a sponsor please get your money to us as soon as possible along with the correct spelling of your name and shirt size.

Later gators! Have a great Fiesta week and hope to see everyone soon!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANIE!!
