Big Week In Southridge

Let’s start with the weekend of May 2nd since I’m running a little behind. Friday = karaoke, see the first three sets of pictures below. Saturday = sleepy time, nighty night!

Speed up to Friday, May 8th and Southridge had a big blow out at Friday night karaoke to celebrate Erica, Gary, and Gilbert’s birthdays. It was also mine & Jeff’s 10th wedding anniversary. WOW! Terri, Lynette, and I went up to the Oasis early Friday to decorate our table, complete with blow up monkeys. Now the funny part of all this was that we planned the whole celebration all week and made sure Gary would be there, however we neglected to tell him the party was for him too. So you can imagine he thought we forgot about him. Lol. Happy Birthday everyone! Hope yall had a great time!
We also had a big surprise on Friday, JUAN WENT TO KARAOKE!!! OMG!! It was great having you there Juan, now maybe next time we can persuade Sonya to go.

It was also great to see James at karaoke, other than just on weird picture mail at two o'clock in the morning.

Favorite saying of the night, "Law Don't Go Round Here, Law Dog."
See movie "Tombstone."

Jeff and I also gave everyone a “special” treat. We sang our wedding song, “From This Moment” by Shania Twain and Bryan White. This was the first time we have ever sung it and we promise to never do it again. Sorry about everyone’s ear drums.

You go Lynette!!

Saturday everyone was pretty tired and tried to stay out of the sun. Jeff & I left the hood and went to San Antonio where we had dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack and did some shopping. Thanks for a great weekend Jeff, I love you.

Sunday was Mother’s Day, Happy Birthday to all you Mother’s out there! After doing the family/Mother thing, a few of us got together to work on the rest of our lighting concept, make final lists (I love lists), and have a few cocktails of course! After realizing the kids had school the next day, everyone started trickling out. How long till summer? I really do love hanging out on Sunday evening. I know everyone has work the next day, but it’s always so relaxing and laid back. Love love love Sundays!
It’s finally here! The 5th annual Southridge Crawfish Boil (the original boil) is Saturday. Hope to see everyone there and expect everyone has a blast! Make sure you bring some one dollar bills. No Jeff isn’t singing “I’m too Sexy.” We are having an auction with a really great package you won’t want to miss out on. Board members (Suckers) are welcome to come help set up on Friday evening if they would like. See yall Saturday!!

On a sadder note, our prayers are going out to Richard and Regina Bledsoe as well as their entire family. Unfortunately Richard lost his father on Monday. You and your family are in all our hearts and prayers.
